It is raining outside the base, in the deceptive manner of English Spring that means what might look like a light shower has left Jack decidedly wet as he swings into the Hub, alarms blaring behind him. It's late in the evening, but his latest Weevil chase had gone on for longer than he had thought it would.

They're getting cunning. He's perversely pleased.

He throws his coat across the couch as he passes, scrubbing a hand through his wet hair and heading for his office. He has no real reason to expect anyone else to be here this late.

There are things, Ianto is aware, that he probably ought to say or do--or object to--or think about--but that's not happening right now.

Mostly it's Jack, kissing me, kissing him, god, finally, Jack and feeling Jack's skin warm up under his hands.

And if Ianto doesn't say anything, or object... well, Jack isn't about to.

He reaches up slowly, dragging the frabric of Ianto's perfectly ironed shirt - at this time of night, too - and curling his fingers in short dark hair.

Ianto pulls away enough to start tugging off his tie.

(Yes, at this time of night.)

Jack watches, slowly smiling as a little more skin is exposed at Ianto's throat. Sometimes, on the right person, just a little is more exciting than everything, and never more true than right now.

"Say something," Ianto says quietly, focusing mostly on Jack's neck. He lets his tie hang open and starts undoing buttons with one hand.

"And ruin the moment?" Jack says, with a mock pout, then grins and continues obligingly.

"Don't you dare throw that tie away. I can think of several uses already."

"Good enough," Ianto murmurs, smiling, and steps out of his shoes. "I assume you want me to continue, though."

"Oh, yes," Jack says, eyes following Ianto's every moment, as he shivers slightly.

From chill or expectation is entirely open to interpretation. Regardless; his ever-bright smile has slipped into something just a little darker and anticipatory.

"I really do."

Ianto takes off his shirt and hangs the tie around his neck. he gives Jack a look that's as much a challenge as it is an invitation.

"Just say when, Captain."

"No rush," Jack says innocently, and reaches out to twist the tie around a less-than-innocent finger, pulling Ianto gently towards him.

"I want this to be fun."

Read: I'm going to draw this out because I am an insufferable tease.

"I'm having a blast," Ianto says, just as innocent, which is quite a feat considering he's also undoing his belt with a determined snap.

Jack just smiles down at him. "Already, huh? Promising. Come with me."

He tugs on the tie again, heading for his small room.

"Oh, and leave your pants."

Ianto obeys as quickly as possible and follows, the tie still around his neck.

There is a smile. Yes. There is definitely a smile.
