The hesitation amuses him, but he catches himself before he smiles. There are slightly more pressing matters afoot.

One of them being that when he reaches forward to slide the window open, he finds it's stuck.


And, as he applies a smidge more pressure, he lifts the entire window up as if it were a picture in a frame.
